Furry Vengeance! Coming Friday!

Posted on Mon, 04/26/2010 - 20:44

As a parent I am constantly on the lookout for quality children’s movies.  It’s a fine line though - movies are often either too childish or too serious.  And both are lost on actual children.  Every once in awhile comes a movie for children and families that is lighthearted fun, but with an incredibly important message delivered in meaningful way.

Furry Vengeance is just such a movie. It is a funny, sweet and charming movie that is focused on teaching viewers about the importance of preserving the earth’s natural lands and resources.

At ConservingNow, we are thrilled to be a part of the release of Furry Vengeance.  We have always stressed the importance of teaching our children about the evils of plastic bags and their pollution.  We are striving to bring awareness to families and their children of the vast toxic pollution left behind from plastic bags.  We developed our teaching curriculum in a way that we believe is a fun and dynamic lesson for children of all ages.  Furry Vengeance does the same.  It is engaging and clever, and yet all children will leave the movie with a greater understanding of the codependence of the world around them as well as how incredibly important it is to preserve natural resources.

In support of this great movie, we encourage you to join ConservingNow as we partner with Summit Entertainment and Participant Media to "Take Part" in their social action campaign, which is focused on the importance of endangered species and habitat preservation.

The “Take Part” campaign is a customized package, including activities and materials, distributed to elementary students nationwide that will engage and educate future environmentalists. The teaching materials will offer tools and opportunities for students to explore the natural areas of their communities and develop skills and deeper knowledge of habitat and animal protection issues.

So go “Wild!” Join ConservingNow in bringing the important lessons (and good family fun) of Furry Vengeance into your home and schools today!
