"The forces behind the challenge are it again, and this round of competition is about expanding the idea. This time, it’s between 31 different towns in the 2009 Colorado Association of Ski Towns Reusable Bag Challenge. Most of them are ski towns, but this time they range all over the Mountain West, from Sun Valley to Jackson Hole to Park City to Eagle, Colo.  So far, this round of the competition has saved an estimated 2.4 million plastic bags. The competition started March 1 and goes until Sept. 1."
